This office holds marriage records from 1815, land records from 1813 (deeds going back to 1813 through 1890), military discharge records (DD214 forms, free for veterans), and federal and state tax liens.
Recording fees are $24 for the first page and $3 for each additional page. Non-standard documents carry an extra $25 fee. Certified copies of marriage certificates cost $9 each. Regular copies are $1 per page. The office has an online record search at washcomo.icounty.com, where you can search the Grantor/Grantee index. Document images go back to 1969. E-recording is available through vendors like Simplifile, CSC, and Indecomm.
